Case scenario A 45-year-old male was presented to the hospital for the growth of a nodule at the floor of the mouth that was painful and associated with numbness and dyspnea. Medical history One month before admission to the hospital, the patient had undergone an intra-oral excision of the floor of the mouth of the right submandibular region after being diagnosed with fibroadenoma. The excised swollen part of the mouth measured approximately 5.2 x 2.8 x 5.9 cm.
Histopathological examination showed lymphatic vessels in the right sublingual region with a positive result for vimentin.
