A 37-year-old lady presented to the hospital with a history of high fever, night sweats, and dry cough. She was extremely breathless with right-sided pleuritic chest pain. An X-ray revealed the ill-defined shadow on the right side. The doctor had prescribed her a broad-spectrum antibiotic considering chest infection. Despite taking medicine her symptoms deteriorated. So, further investigations were done and included CT scan revealing cardiomegaly along with filling defects in the left atrium and trans-thoracic echocardiogram showing a large 4.5 × 5 cm left atrial mass.
