Globally, oral cancer is the sixth most prevalent cancer, with India having the second-highest cases. About one-third of the total disease burden in India is attributed to oral cancer. Lack of knowledge, behavioral risk factors, and variability in environmental exposure contributes to the variation seen in the global incidence of oral cancer. Oral cancers can be detected using various methods such as physical, radiographical, and histological examinations, staining, biopsy, and spectroscopy. However, early detection is critical in reducing the patient’s physical, psychological, and financial loss.

To shed more light on this, we have organized an interactive webinar with Dr. Pranay Pardeshi, who will share his insights on the ‘Diagnosis and Imaging of Oral and Maxillofacial Cancers’ on 27 th August, 3 PM onwards. Be a part of this session to get insights from the expert! Stay tuned!
