Commonly characterized by end-organ damage; multiple myeloma (MM) is a malignant proliferation of monoclonal plasma cells leading to clinical mutation. MM is a rare malignancy and accounts for around 10% of hematologic malignancies. Patients with MM exhibit several non-specific symptoms thereby leading to long intervals of initial symptoms reporting. It is because of these complexities; the diagnosis of MM still remains a challenging issue for doctors.
