This case describes how a patient was diagnosed with ocular dirofilariasis in a young female via teleconsultation, 1 emphasizing the benefits of teleconsultation in diagnosing certain diseases when face-to-face consultation is not possible. Case presentation A 22-year-old female, a farmer, consulted an ophthalmologist via telemedicine during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown with a primary complaint of vermiform swelling in her left upper eyelid (Cover image a). She had noticed the swelling and its occasional movement for eight days (shown in the video below). She had no other ocular or systemic symptoms, and her complete hemogram was within normal limits.
