A digital medicine tool designed for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and co-occurring attention/deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) was evaluated by the scientists at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). The research was published in the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders and established the acceptability, feasibility, and safety of Project: EVO, that delivers sensory and motor stimuli through an action video game experience, designed by a prescription digital medicine company. About 50% of children with ASD have some or the other ADHD symptoms, with approximately 30% receiving a secondary diagnosis of ADHD.
