A doctor on board a Bengaluru-Delhi flight has saved the life of an army veteran who experienced a medical emergency mid-air . About 45 minutes into the flight, the cabin crew made an announcement requesting the assistance of a doctor to attend to a passenger in distress . An assistant professor of emergency medicine from Chandigarh promptly responded to the call. The 44-year-old patient reported symptoms of headache, discomfort, and weakness on the left side of his body.
Initially, the doctor suspected the onset of a stroke. However, upon learning that the patient had diabetes and was on regular medication, he reconsidered the diagnosis and suspected hypoglycemia.
