The clinical trial of an investigational vaccine against Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) has been launched by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). As per WHO reports, RSV causes 200,000 deaths approximately per year worldwide. This study being conducted at the NIAID funded Vaccine and Treatment Evaluation Units (VTEUs).

A small group of healthy adult volunteers will be involved in Phase 1 trial.
