First ever successful craniopagus surgery in India was carried out on 28-month-old kids in October last year. Two new cases of conjoined twins have reached in pediatric department of AIIMS Orissa.
However, the new cases are not craniopagus but have rather lower portion of their bodies fused. According to statistics, amongst all conjoined twins worldwide only 2% are craniopagus.
