Drug abuse is a grave problem involving social, psychological, economical, mental and political factors leading to rising in crimes. It's not only national but also an international problem which cripples individuals in their youth.

I know its eradication is not possible until and unless successful measures are taken jointly by different departments of different nations. Can medical professionals play some role in the eradication of drug abuse problem?
