This four year old boy was bought to me in OP yesterday with bloody discharge and pain ear last two days. Pain was severe enough to disturb sleep. He is better today (after drugs ) Past history He was shown to an ENT doctor for wax ear 10 days back for wax ear and was treated with ear drops and ear wash ( patients own words.) No similar illness in the past . No other significant illness. Immunised update Now See the photos ( below ) Both sides bloody discharge crusted .
Small pustular lesions around the external orifice and lobules . He was already on Amoxycillin +Clavunanic acid combination twice daily since yesterday (Dose inadequate .
