A 59-year-old man is evaluated as a part of industrial health. He has been working for a construction company and his main job involves grinding and polishing stone. Presently he complains of long standing dyspnea that aggravates with activity. He does not have any fever, hemoptysis or chest pain. On examination, he is of average build and appears moderately distressed. Chest examination reveals bilateral wheeze. No clubbing or cyanosis was present.
He has been evaluated repeatedly for tuberculosis but all his sputum samples were negative for AFB. Radiography and CT scan revealed a nodule on the right upper zone and multiple small nodules in the lung fields. A CT guided biopsy was performed.
