FDA has approved dupilumab in patients of 12 years and older suffering from moderate-to-severe asthma. The study was conducted in three randomized, placebo-controlled, multicenter trials. Overall dupilumab was seen to improve lung function, reduced oral corticosteroid use, and reduced exacerbations regardless of baseline eosinophil levels.
