The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) wants to fight vigorously for medication shortages as it leads to rationing of some drugs and disrupted patient care. The agency has announced strategies for a task force to improve the supply of crucial drugs, which can be a new approach for the drug regulator, who have less control over drugmakers' operations.
