Mooren's ulcer is a sort of corneal dystrophy. It is either benign or malignant and it may progressive or stationery.

Mooren's ulcer is chronic, peripheral, painful or progressive ulcer of an unknown etiology which starts in cornel periphery traversed by the leash of blood vessels that lies in the gutter. This ulcer is very resistant to treatment which is topical steroids.
