In a recent move, the Gujarat High Court stayed the state government’s decision which stated that (Overseas Citizens of India) OCIs can get MBBS course admission only in NRI quota. In this regard, Two UK and US-born students are facing a problem in getting MBBS admission in the state quota as the state government has made domicile certificates mandatory for such admissions.
