The court has remanded a homeopathy doctors in custody for 14 days in a case of medical negligence which caused the death of a 16-year-old girl. The 16-year-old girl consulted a homeopathy doctor for ear and throat pain after vomiting. The doctor advised her to get admitted and she was put on intravenous fluid. The next day the doctor asked her to get few lab tests and ear examination done. After the tests, the girl returned to the hospital.

She had some food after which she complained of stomach ache. The doctor told his staff, over the phone, to put the girl on an antibiotic drip after which she got some relief. After some time again, she complained stomach ache for which another dose was administered to her. After some time, she felt silent and showed no movements.
