A 30-year-old woman was presented with classic symptoms of tiredness and weight gain. History She had a history of type 1 diabetes for the past 12 years. There weren’t any changes in her diet but she undertook less exercise due to extreme fatigue. No changes in her insulin dosage were reported and she continued in the same job as a teacher. She complained of being constipated and had menstrual irregularities.
Additionally, she mentioned she felt cold constantly. Physical examination Slower relaxing reflexes Periorbital puffiness Overall dry skin with periorbital puffiness on face Diagnostic test reports The range of her HbA1c levels over the past 7 years were reported between 6.4 and 7.1%, but the recent test result showed an HbA1c of 8.3%.
