The Delhi Medical Council has concluded the investigation in the case of a premature baby who was wrongly declared dead at Hospital in Delhi last year by giving a clean chit to the doctors. The hospital had wrongly declared a premature twin as dead on November 30, 2017. Both the babies were declared stillborn by the hospital and handed over to the family allegedly in a polythene bag. The family discovered that the boy was still alive, while they were on way to do the final rites.

The baby died during treatment at a nursing home in Pitampura a week later. A panel formed by the Delhi government to look into the case had found this hospital not guilty,  though there were some procedural lapses, but no NEGLIGENCE was there. Please share your views.
