The MR ( medical representative) can be a very valuable resource for doctors, because he spends a lot of time in doctor's clinics, and sees how different clinics operate . He understands which ones do certain things well , and which ones mess up. He spends a lot of time talking to the doctor’s staff as well as the receptionist , because he needs to keep the gatekeepers happy in order to get appointments . He also spends a lot of time observing the patients who are waiting in the doctor’s clinic , so he can see stuff like: are the patients happy ? do they like the ambience in the clinic ?
do they have any complaints about the doctor’s staff ? do they leave the clinic smiling , or with a frown. The medical representative can share these valuable insights with the doctor .
