Doctors are professionals who specialize in taking care of patients. They understand a lot about health and illness because they spend their entire day treating patients with medical problems. They spend years mastering the science, art, craft and practice of medicine. Logically, one would think that doctors would be the right people to make decisions about the laws and policies which should be drafted by the government in order to make sure that patients get the right medical treatment.
