Small cell carcinoma of the cervix (SCCC) is a rare type of cancer (1% to 3% of cases out of all types) belonging to the neuroendocrine group of cancers. It spreads rapidly in the early stages with a fatality rate higher than other types of cervical cancer. In pregnancy, diagnosis of SCCC is extremely rare but it is most probably diagnosed in the later stages of the disease. However, clinical progression is depicted by metastasis and death. In this case, the diagnosis and treatment of an SCCC patient in late pregnancy have been discussed.
