Huntington’s disease (HD) is a major neurodegenerative disorder arising due to a genetic condition. The mutation in the repeat count of Huntingtin Gene (HTT) causes Huntington’s disease. Currently, there is no cure for HD, however, the scientists from Canada have commenced the trials on gene therapy that targets the root cause of HD.
