A 46-year-old was presented with hearing loss and a sensation of fullness in the left ear. The symptoms had started some days before presentation. He had not observed any neurologic deficit symptoms. The patient reported no head injury but mentioned that he has been having partial memory blackout since drinking alcohol 5 days earlier. Examination Otoscopy revealed a hemotympanum through the eardrum.
