The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has launched a nationwide 'Koi Sun To Nahi Raha' (Hope Someone is not listening) campaign to streamline the rules on medical privacy and confidentiality. To highlight the importance of patient privacy and confidentiality IMA has launched this campaign. While suggesting the directives, IMA is mindful of the fact that these are small, but often overlooked details in daily medical practice which unintentionally breach the patient privacy. Thus, IMA is trying to sensitize doctors and hospital staff by sending awareness messages on their mobile phones and email.
