The quadrivalent human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine is recommended for all girls and women between 9 to 26 years of age. This article reports a study conducted by Danish researchers on the effects of inadvertent HPV vaccination during early pregnancy. Although HPV vaccine is not recommended during pregnancy, effects of inadvertent HPV exposure or vaccination during early pregnancy is still unknown.
