A study of 70 maxillary premolars evaluated fracture resistance in MOD cavities restored with different giomer techniques . Incremental packable and injectable restorations maintained strength comparable to intact teeth, whereas bulk-fill techniques significantly reduced fracture resistance (p<0.001). Findings suggest that incremental techniques not only preserve tooth structure but also enhance long-term clinical outcomes . Clinicians should consider placement strategy carefully to balance efficiency and biomechanical performance.
