The Union Health Ministry has launched JANANI (Journey of Antenatal, Natal and Neonatal Integrated Care), a digital platform aimed at strengthening maternal and child healthcare services through seamless beneficiary tracking, real-time monitoring, and interoperable health records across the country. The platform was unveiled during the national summit on Innovation and Inclusivity: Best Practices Shaping India’s Health Future. According to the ministry, JANANI has been designed as a comprehensive digital healthcare system to monitor and maintain the health records of women throughout their reproductive years.
