A 25 yr male known case of of IBD admitted with history of acute headache and ,nausea with problem of vision the patient was on prednisolone 30mg per day along with Mesalamine for IBD. NOT KNOWN HYPERTENSIVE OR DIABETIC ,NONSMOKER AND SOCIAL DRINKER.
Examination revealed bilateral papilledema and constriction of temporal visual field ,mild gait ataxia however there was no focal neurological deficit INV : routine hemogram, sugar urea ,collagen profile, APL and antidsDNA -Ve except mild elevation of TLC,VDRL & HIV,and other viral screening NAD. MRI brain MILD ventricular compression on left and empty delta sign +ve , cerebral angiography normal but venogram reveals rt sigmoid sinus and rt transverse sinus thrombosis, MRI distinctly shows the blockage of sinus with with absent flow related enhancement with extension into rt jugular vein origin( an anatomy of normal venous drainage is…
