The Delhi State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission has asked the Jaipur's Hospital to pay Rs 24 lakh as compensation and Rs 1 lakh as litigation cost to the family of the person who died in this hospital during treatment as doctor provided service which was lacking in a way a human being provides to another human being. "This may serve the purpose of bringing about a qualitative change in the attitude of the hospital for providing service to the human beings as human beings.
