A 2024 cross-sectional survey of 100 family medicine residents and specialists in Sudan provides the first comprehensive evaluation of the SMSB Family Medicine curriculum. The study reveals high overall satisfaction (87%), with residents acknowledging improvements in clinical knowledge and practical competencies attributed to structured lectures and workshops. However, significant concerns emerged regarding the research methodology course, with nearly one-third expressing dissatisfaction and many reporting ineffective training and unclear expectations from the research committee.
