The complaints of sexual harassment are rising at the workplace including medical colleges and hospitals. Every workplace is supposed to have the Internal Committee to look into complaints of the Sexual harassment.
For Medical College it's constitution includes: 1) One senior faculty woman as a chairperson 2) Two faculty members- one male and one female 3) Two staff members- one male and one female (group B & C) 4) Three postgraduate students- two female and one male 5) One external member preferably lawyer and NGOs 6) One woman of the scheduled caste or scheduled tribe Do you think it will be helpful in providing a safe environment for female workers?
