The internet is the most powerful tool nowadays almost information about any disease starting from its cause, effective method of diagnosis, ways of treatment, the outcome all can be easily accessed by any patient anytime. But the study has revealed that this information are often misleading and the person becomes prejudiced after reading the theoretical knowledge of the disease without having the full-fledged complete practical aspect of handling it, lead to disbelief and less confidence & trust in doctor treating the disease. “The internet is a powerful information tool, but it is limited by its inability to reason and think,” said lead author associate professor at the Hofstra University, New York.
