Whenever doctor make rounds in their wards, the concerned hospital, charges the patient for each round of visit, each day. Resulting in enormous expenditure to the patient. While in OP, patients are prescribed some medicines and their consultation with the same doctor is free for next one week or so. In IP, every visit is charged.
I suppose, the patient is the responsibility of the doctor and not the doctor a liability of the patient. Any opinion? Charging patients for IP rounds every visit, every day Is it ethical practice
