World IVF Day is commemorated on the 25 th of July annually as the first baby was born through in vitro fertilization (IVF) on this very day 45 years ago. Since then, the technique has evolved to become more inclusive, providing family-building options for single women and men, cancer survivors, couples struggling with infertility issues, and LGBTQ+ individuals.
