A 31-year-old woman from Kota, Rajasthan, has allegedly died due to severe post-delivery complications following a C-section at a government hospital, marking the fourth such maternal death reported within a week. The woman, Pinky Mahawar, a resident of Shriramnagar, died shortly after midnight on Sunday while undergoing treatment at the Super Specialty Block of the government-run New Medical College Hospital (NMCH). Her family has alleged delays in critical medical intervention and referral despite her worsening condition after surgery. Pinky was admitted to JK Lone Hospital on May 7, where she underwent a C-section the same night.
