A 31-year-old woman from Kota, Rajasthan, has allegedly died due to severe post-delivery complications following a C-section at a government hospital, marking the fourth such maternal death reported within a week. The woman, Pinky Mahawar, a resident of Shriramnagar, died shortly after midnight on Sunday while undergoing treatment at the Super Specialty Block of the government-run New Medical College Hospital (NMCH). Her family has alleged delays in critical medical intervention and referral despite her worsening condition after surgery.
