Laparoscopic liver resection has been recognized as a safe and efficient approach, but its practice still remains confined to experienced teams. The laparoscopic performance for intra-abdominal cancer including primary and secondary hepatic tumours has been established for many years. However, laparoscopic liver resections are a largely confined with expertise in hepato-biliary-pancreatic surgery.
