The Medical Council of India (MCI) has come up with a new initiative of launching a digital dashboard for Indian doctors. It has urged the Directors/Principals/Deans of all the government as well as private medical colleges/institutes to provide the details about the number of faculty members, residents, and post-graduate students. To establish transparency in the medical education sector, a major move has been taken by the MCI. It has launched a dashboard for medical faculty, resident doctors (senior and junior), and PG students (PG broad specialty and super-specialty) in India .
This dashboard has been created with the objective of taking the count of medical staff and students available at medical colleges across the country.
