The case highlights a rare clinical phenomenon of lumbar radiculopathy caused by epidural gas collection in the lumbar region in a 59-year-old female. 1 Year: 2019 Symptom : Pain in the right leg Presence of vacuum disc phenomenon No history of any invasive procedures Axial CT : Several intracannular posterolateral gas bubbles at the L5-S1 level were seen in axial (Cover image a) and sagittal cuts (Cover image b). Management : Partial pain relief was achieved for the next two years with conservative treatment.
