A 30-year woman with one living child has attended OPD with a cc of menorrhagia since 6 months. Bleeds for about 8 days very heavily. No dysmenorrhea. regular cycles; no c/o intermenstrual bleed; no foul smelling discharge no c/o intermenstrual bleed; no foul-smelling discharge; no preceding amenorrhea. no usage of hormones or anticoagulants; no h/o IUCD. Last delivery was 8 years back.
Trying for a conception not succeeding. However, she is not very keen on having another child. Per-abdomen shows 14 weeks uterus regular firm lower border not felt. PV shows 14 weeks uterus mid position firm freely mobile. Can it be managed by medical treatment or only surgery can be an option?
