Bipolar disorder is a chronic, relapsing illness characterized by recurrent episodes of manic or depressive symptoms, with intervening periods that are mostly symptom-free. Current article deals with the management of complex treatment in bipolar disorders. Types of Bipolar Disorders Type 1: Episodes of depression are noticed with the presence of mania.
