In an awful incidence, the Surgical Oncology faculty members at one of the premier institutes of Srinagar have submitted mass resignation to protest against what they termed as the ‘victimized right’ by the administrative officials. The faculty have submitted a memorandum to the Governor and Chief Minister that says that they have been abused and bullied by Departmental Heads of General Surgery and Neurosurgery since the time they have joined. nominated these academicians as members of governing body and apical selection committee respectively, probably with the intention that being in service members they could contribute in the upliftment of the institute.
