I came across a very interesting online campaign which I thought would be about preventing violence against doctors, but when I actually checked it out, it was about something completely different - it was about protecting the careers of medical students who had failed to get a postgraduate seat! The campaign claimed that it was important for Indian medical colleges to have as many postgraduate seats as there are undergraduate seats, so that medical students who finish their graduation (MBBS) and then want to specialize, don't get stuck because they failed to pass the highly competitive postgraduate examinations.
