A patient who became restless all of a sudden and died after blood transfusion. He was normal before initiation of blood transfusion. Attendants found tampering in the expiry date of blood and complained that death is due to transfusion of expired blood. The doctor of blood bank said that blood is not expired but expiry date was wrongly written initially by mistake.
