Failure in the interpretation of diagnosis necessitated for knee amputation. This case highlights the importance of thorough diagnosis and not rely on the signs and symptoms during the case investigation. A 40-year-old woman Ms.M suffering from pain and swelling in her right knee which she experienced 3 years earlier while she was pregnant and she underwent for provisional clinical diagnosis of recurrent meniscal injury and MRI scan. Inappropriate interpretation of diagnosis Dr. A, the radiologist interpretations of MRI scan was normal and reported some insignificant small bodies above and below the joint.
