Women put family first and often neglect their own health. Once the reproductive period is complete, it is almost self-indulgent to complain of everyday aches and pains, so they pull on. In the perimenopause, most women develop menstrual problems. They feel tired often leading to mood swings which do not help while handling teenage children and elderly parents, and  along with this a reducing sexual desire, which leads to strain in relationships.
