A substantial share of endometriosis -related symptoms is linked to menstruation, yet menstrual distress in these patients remains insufficiently studied. To address this gap, researchers assessed menstrual distress and its determinants in 75 women with endometriosis and compared the findings with those from healthy individuals. The study showed that women with endometriosis reported significantly higher Menstrual Distress Questionnaire scores (14.0 vs. 12.0) and Menstrual Symptoms Distress scores (2.24 vs.
1.71) compared with controls.
