Over 100,000 older adults with debilitating hearing loss (HL) are estimated to live in Singapore, which has more than 500,000 individuals aged 65 and older. The number of debilitating HL is anticipated to rise as the population ages, with over 900,000 seniors likely to be 65 or older by 2030. 1 However, with the launch of a new satellite hearing clinic , residents in western Singapore will now get greater access to hearing health services.
