A 40 yrs old female came to my clinic with complaints of fever of 4 weeks duration . There was no systemic complaint. Her routine investigations including typhoid serology done elsewhere were normal. While examining, her temperature was 98, I touched her arm and hand to find them hot and tremulous pulse was 106/mt, hands had little sweating too.

Rest of the general physical and systemic examination was normal. I asked for thyroid function test including Free triiodothyronine (FT3) and free thyroxine (FT4). She was diagnosed to have hyperthyroidism . She was treated with Neo-Mercazole and followed up to find her perfectly doing well.
