Chronic Kidney Disease caused due to non-traditional reasons, generally referred as mysterious Kidney Disease by media, has reported to kill 20,000 farm workers in Central America till 2012 and has been spreading in South India and other nearby Asian countries. This article discusses the current scenarios and possible causes of Chronic Kidney Disease in South India and compares the facts with cases found in Central America.
